About Kavit Shah (BSc, FCA) - Director 'AShah & Co. Chartered Accountants'

I am a Chartered Accountant having qualified with the Institute in 2001. I have over ten years accounting experience with a BSc (Hons) in Business Studies from City Business School. With my training being undertaken within small to medium sized accounting practices I have a good grasp of the basic accounting concepts to dealing with the more complex accounting issues. My experience has been varied working on large international companies to the smaller sole trader business. I have acquired good knowledge in core bookkeeping skills to the preparation of management and annual statutory accounts. I also have experience of both corporate and personal tax compliance new company start ups together with VAT compliance and general business advice. I believe it important to determine clearly what the client requires and to provide this in the most accurate and cost efficient manner so that the client gets value for money and no ‘last minute surprises’. I take a great interest in working and understanding my client's needs and ensuring they are aware of all regulatory gremlins. I make it my business to sit down with you one on one and explain these matters in a clear and understandable manner. 
When not in work mode, I am a happily married family man. I take pleasure in doing charity work for causes 
close to my heart, one of which is Great Ormond Street Hospital. Being a sports fanatic, one of my greatest 
personal feats has been to complete the London Marathon in under four hours.
